Francs are the permanent currency that unlocks every weapon and utility in Guts & Blackpowder. Whether you are grinding Hardcore Endless on Trenches or clearing Leipzig for the first time, knowing how much a session pays helps you plan the next shop purchase without guesswork. This calculator applies the same wave-milestone math and map completion rewards documented across our wiki — then you can cross-check spending priorities on the shop guide and farming routes in the how to get Francs fast guide.
Francs Earnings Calculator
How Francs Work in Guts & Blackpowder
Francs never reset. Every Franc you earn from wave survival, map completion, healing allies, saving grabbed soldiers, or curing infections stays in your Roblox account permanently. Spend them at Bubbles, the shop NPC in the lobby, to unlock class-specific weapons and utilities. There is no real-money equipment store — progression is entirely gameplay-driven, which makes earning efficiency worth understanding before you queue your twentieth Endless run.
Two modes dominate Franc income. Endless pays at predictable five-wave milestones and scales with a multiplier that increases every ten waves, capped at three times the base once you pass wave twenty-five. That is why veteran farming groups push Hardcore Trenches to wave twenty instead of clearing easy Objective maps on repeat. Objective campaigns pay a lump sum when your team reaches the escape point, with longer and harder maps granting larger bonuses. Vardøhus Fortress sits at the low end; Berezina pays the most among standard campaigns.
Endless Payout Mechanics
Each five-wave milestone awards a base payout of 10 Francs in normal Endless, or 20 Francs under the Hardcore modifier. On top of that base, a multiplier applies based on how deep you have survived:
- Waves 1–9: 1× multiplier on the base payout
- Waves 10–19: 1.5× multiplier
- Waves 20–24: 2.25× multiplier (1.5 × 1.5)
- Wave 25 and beyond: 3× multiplier (maximum)
Example: reaching wave 15 in normal Endless triggers payouts at waves 5 (10 Francs), 10 (15 Francs at 1.5×), and 15 (15 Francs at 1.5×) for a total of 40 Francs from milestones alone. The same run in Hardcore doubles each base before the multiplier, yielding 80 Francs. Add Surgeon heals and soldier rescues during the run and real totals climb higher. Consult our Endless maps guide for arena-specific farming tips and wave scaling tables.
Objective Map Completion Rewards
Finishing an Objective campaign awards a one-time completion bonus that varies by map length and difficulty. The calculator uses these documented values:
| Map | Completion Francs | Walkthrough |
|---|---|---|
| Vardøhus Fortress | 75 | Guide |
| San Sebastian | 100 | Guide |
| Leipzig | 125 | Guide |
| London | 150 | Guide |
| Roscoff | 175 | Coming soon |
| Berezina | 200 | Coming soon |
Partial checkpoint rewards during a failed run are not modeled here. Even so, Objective mode remains a solid path for players who want narrative progression while stockpiling Francs for their first carbine or bandage stack. Pair map picks with our Objective maps list and build guides so your loadout matches each campaign's chokepoints.
Planning Your Next Purchase
After calculating session earnings, compare the total against item prices on the weapons and utilities pages. A common early goal is 300 Francs for a Carbine or 50 Francs for a Water Bucket — both reachable in two or three successful Endless sessions at wave ten. Hardcore farmers targeting wave twenty often bank enough for premium melee upgrades in a single evening. The Francs farming guide breaks down class choices, map selection, and team composition to maximize Francs per hour beyond what this calculator shows.
